My name is Mondo, I've been doing mainly stencil work on and off the
streets in England for a couple of years now. I have attached some of my
most recent pieces I've been involved with. If these files don't work then
one of my pieces is on www.dmt.org.uk under collaborations on the last
page (the big MONDO piece with the infill of stencils) on the last page.
Also some of my very easy stuff is under Mondo on www.cutterskink.com. I
am sorry I do not have more to show you, I'm in the process of getting a
website together with all my pieces but its taking too long.
I'm writing to you as I am coming over to Poland from the 18th of July to
the 8th of august, arriving in Warsaw then going up to Gdansk then down to
Poznan, Wroclaw, on to Krakow then back to Warsaw. Me and two friends are
coming over to do a photographic study of all the facets of Polish
heritage, community and culture for a project we got funding for which we
are making an exhibition of when we get back to England. To me Street art
and all the expression found on the streets is where we can learn a great
deal about Poland, also it's the area I am completely obsessed with.
Personally I work with quite a large group of street artists and graffers
in London so am really interested to see what the scene in Poland is like
and get a through documentation of it. I've been looking on the web and it
looks wicked. I was just wondering if there was any possibility of anyone
being able to help me out in terms of recommending any specific spots I
should see or possible spots to go and paint or drink at? Or if there was
anyone willing to meet up with us or maybe do a spot of painting. I know
its only a few weeks away and I haven't really got too much to show you,
but I don't want to waste anyone's time I would just really be so grateful
if anyone could help me out in really making the most of my trip to Poland
and seeing everything worth seeing. When you don't speak to people who
actually live in the areas you go and see you never really know where to
go and always manage to miss the best bits
